| Description : | Since 2009 AUCAN played more than 150 gigs around Europe, sharing the stage with some of the most important international alternative bands: Placebo, Antipop Consortium, Steve Aoki, Crookers, Sole & the Skyrider, Ramadanman, Black heart procession, Lars Hornveth, Zu, DjRupture among others.
They have been recently invited to play at the 25th anniversary of the legendary 'EUROSONIC' festival in Holland and they have been one of the only 20 bands selected to appear in the festival official compilation.
'Black Rainbow' is their third release. Mastered by Matt Colton at AIR studios, London, it is both innovative in its sound and musical approach. Aucan unify a live rock band attitude with the most innovative electronic productions sound, making both their record and their live set something unique.
Spacing from modern dubstep and wonky broken riffs to dead ambient landscapes, this is a record that guides the listener into a multi textured sound experience. Digital processed vocals draw intense melodies over the tracks, using dark-psychedelic harmonies as well as rap-influenced styles. | |
