| Description : | Calva returns in 2016 with 'Siamois' a new album that follows 'Sacrifice' released in 2012. Calva is a duet of the stable A Tant Revere Du Roi, composed of Arnaud Millan (vocals, guitar, keyboards) & Stéphane Sapanel (battery). In duet for this record and in trio on stage with Arno Sainthuille (Pool / Botibol), they deliver hybrid music borrowing as much from indie rock escapes as from noise gravity, Krautrock overflows and post-punk ships. Influenced by, among others, Deerhoof, Can, So So Modern or The Ex, their music is a lark mirror made of tensions and repetitive patterns, a meeting of two spirits loving to triturate their songs and to constantly question themselves.
