| Description : | Marseille's based quintet DAS SIMPLE formed at the end of 2008 with the sole purpose of creating pure 'Voodoom'; an iconoclastic mix of muscular noise rock and punked jazz: a metamorphous music diving headlong into psychedelic ecstasy, whilst thoroughly passing the Acid Test, as if Zappa double dropped Meshuggah whilst smoking tapes of GSYBE! After completing a full-length album in 2010 with Nicolas Dick (Kill the Thrill) and William Turner-Duffin (The Irrepressibles, It's a Lunken, Mea Culpa), the rest of 2010 has been dedicated to prepare a stunning live show, for the tour commencing Spring 2011. | |
