| Description : | Daughters is an American grindcore/mathcore/noise rock band formed in 2001 in Providence, Rhode Island after the demise of Providence-based As the Sun Sets. Daughters have four releases including their self-titled EP, Canada Songs LP Hell Songs and last album Daughters. The band has re-released their self-titled EP under the title '2002 EP' on April 1, 2009. Recording for Daughters' last full-length album began in late April, 2009. It was released March 9, 2010 on Hydra Head Records. Since this release the band remained inactive until June of 2013 when they announced they would be playing their first show in over four years at The Met Cafe in Providence, RI on September 13, 2013. To celebrate this announcement Anchor Brain will be issuing a live record titled 'Daughters Live At CBGB' on limited edition CD and Digital. | |
