| Description : | Just 20 years ago, one of the masterpieces of Drive Blind's discography was released : Be A Vagatable. Before crashing, the blind driver has absorbed the very best of the 90s scene : the grunge energy of Tad, Nirvana or Mudhoney, the rage of the Riot Grrrls, L7 or Babies In Toyland and also the right amount of electricity like what Helmet or Jesus Lizard could do. David Weber, producer at 'Studio des Forces Motrices' in Geneva (CH), worked on the re-master of this vital album of the french scene like he did with the tracking and mixing 20 years ago. While digging up the original tapes he found an unreleased track that was discarded from the album back then. The band itself had forgetten its existence ! In this double LP, you'll find in addition to the hidden track where the band members switched their instruments, a rare song that was only released on free mini-CD. The rotten vegetable on the artwork had spread its seeds and Head Records is one of them. It was so obvious for this label to take care of the vinyl reissue, the first step of a long term relationship with the band that might bring many more surprises. | |
