DESCRIPTION |
| | FESTIVAL OF DEAD DEAR Many faces of mental illness Label : 31G Format : LP Style : Hardcore / Metal Availability : Out of stock
| | | | Description : | The Festival of Dead Deer 'The Many Faces of Mental Illness' ? Los Angeles’ short lived Dead Deer trio started in the mid 90’s, hitting southern California with their B-horror brand of dark hardcore mayhem. Often compared to bands like Clikitat Ikitowi, T Tauri, and Unwound. They released most of their history on a single discography-type release. This record consists of their first 7' EP on Black Bean Placenta, part of two live radio shows from KXLU’s infamous Prole Art Threat Program and their split 7' EP with The Crimson Curse. Drummer, Chris Hathwell, later went on to play in bands such as Strictly Ballroom and Moving Units.
