| Description : | GOGOGO AIRHEART return with their first 7' for GSL, 'Real Live Kill... Ripe from the Vine'. Essentially one song spread across two sides, 'Real Live Kill...' is the band's first recorded release featuring two drummers as well as incorporating the trademark elements that make GGGAH immediately recognizable - Hash's dubbed-out bass vibrating beneath Mike's yelping, stream-of-consciousness vocals, etc. Recorded in San Diego with Rafter Roberts (ALBUM LEAF, ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT, etc.), the record makes for a nice segue between their last album (2000's Gogogo Airheart) and the new LP they are currently putting the finishing touches on. Researchers recognize the similarities between 'Real Live Kill...' and the likes of THE CLASH and HAPPY MONDAYS, but a Gogogo record is most definitely a Gogogo record. | |
