| Description : | Shunatao, formation apparue au milieu des années 90, signe aujourd'hui un troisième album, 'Calme blanc', publié par le label indépendant Amanita. Après 'Autoretrat', split-CD avec Noël Akchoté, et 'Highway to hell', Shunatao élargit sa vision hallucinée d'un rock où se croisent blues, jazz, électro, voix de crooner, musiques ethniques. Ce groupe à géométrie variable, adepte de collaborations extérieures et d'instrumentations multiples, déploie sur 'Calme blanc ' des chansons d'une rare nonchalence, bourrées de pepites méIodiques et d'atmosphères moites, parsemées de scories électriques et de déraillements. Shunatao, dont les deux premiers albums ont suscité l'étonnement et l'enthousiasme d'une partie de la presse spécialisée, apparait clairement comme l'une des choses les plus excitantes de I'underground français. | |
