| Description : | We drive through this abyss. The hills are crushing down on us. They roll as we are rolling. We drive through the starlit night in this laughing slit of a valley. Deep down here past the destruction and the distractions long shadows hunts us is the dark. Wheels screeching and screaming, we're cutting a new road under us... Past the cities, past the benevolent healers, past the star-crossed haters and through the mud. Our minds melt and crackle, electricity jolts through us. This is our delirium. Who can cure you from what you stole from us? We're taking aim at new worlds! Speeding into space! Come with us now to follow the calling, can you hear it? Other beings of mystery are calling us... Their faces gleam in the sky around us. Come follow the desire, follow the violence of its power as we leap into the sky... Don't mind the crash. Metal skin tumbles around us like sot flakes in sot night, but nothing can stop us now! It's even darker out here. Behind the disc of the sun the night is always hiding... Come with us...
Since 1996 Tzii, music composer and filmmaker, and defined as a mountain of multiple figures by Nyx, spreads his frequencies all over the world through touring from Eastern and Western Europe to Australia, passing by USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico and Africa, where he played hundreds of shows... His main aim is to reach transcendence through sound trance, layering and looping to another dimension avoiding intellectualism to let the emotional body flow freely on the waves... He's part of several other projects like Solar Skeletons, MS30, 1997EV, Aerobiconoise and is a co-founder & active member of the label/collective V-Atak as a multitask artist he works also for dance companies, living performances, movie soundtracks and any other mediums with sound inside... His many travels and encounters brought him to collaborate on stage or in studio with many other fellows such as Steve MacKay (The Stooges), Mike Watt (Minutemen, The Stooges), Marshall Allen (Sun-Ra Arkestra), Contagious Orgasm, Ripit, Koonda Holaa, Sikhara, Temple Of Bonmatin, Sam Lohman, HHY, D'incise, Vinnie Paternostro, Clara Carogna, Otto von Schirasch, DJ Urine, Mentol Nomad, Aymeric De Tapol, Company Fuck, Madame Patate... and many more ! As a filmmaker he directed videoclips for Solar Skeletons, OvO, Fujako, Sikhara, Madame Patate, Martial Becheau, 1997EV, Dolina, HHY & The Macumbas, MS30, Duhka, Parade Ground, Mourmansk150, Nihiltronix, himself and some short movies for V-atak and others. Liina Nilsson also known as NYX - a name taken from the primordial goddess of the night and the daughter of chaos - is an independent artist currently working out of Berlin. She works mainly in video and writing, but is a multidisciplinary artist and organizer with always many diverse projects and collaborations underway. She's part of the Berlin artist collective The Pizza Suicide Club as well as head master of the art and music video label Shocking Film. She's diving straight into the strange whenever she can! For this record Tzii invited Liina for a special collaboration between the two artists, for her to bring words to the story that lives in his music. The road trip through the abyss and all its parts - the short movies, music and texts - have been created in a constant interaction, during times in Brussels, Berlin and on the road wandering together in Eastern Europe. | |
