| DESCRIPTION |
| | V/A Les Aus / Sheik Anorak - Weasel Walter Duo Label : Gaffer Records Year : 2008 Format : 10in Style : Rock / Noise / Experimental Availability : In stock
Price : 12.40 € - BUY
| | | | | Description : | On this second of Gaffer Records' 10in split releases, Barcelona band Les Aus (with Lydia Lunch as a special guest) are paired with heavy-rocking jazz-niks Sheik Anorak & Weasel Walter. It all fits together rather nicely, with free roaming - though not entirely unhinged - guitars leading riotous drums and spurts of vocals through passages of sinister nightclub swing through Les Aus' side (Lydia Lunch provides a spoken-word part to the longest track, 'Dead Man') while the intriguingly named Sheik Anorak & Weasel Walter spew out colourful improv-thrash for an enjoyably ferocious three tracks.
