| Description : | 'Predict Suite' is a joint effort of Brussels-based bands Shkval and OMSQ to create a common narrative experience in four chapters. It's the musical score to a hallucinated meditative vision. On one hand, Shkval uses erroded guitars, fat electronic beats and abstract synth phrases that bring the listener down to a predictable and yet unavoidable dirty hangover. On the other hand, OMSQ contributes to this allegory by turning up the volume of their guitars and hitting their drum kits harder than ever to build a couple of outrageous space rock / psychedelic / sludge tracks. The 'Predict Suite' journey will take you from desperate drone landscapes to perverted heavy stoner riffs. All tracks combine pure instrumentals and sampling. It is the second production of Brussels DIY label Antée Records. It comes in a 10in format, limited to 300 copies, all hand-numbered. Shkval had already released a first album in 2010 on Antée Records : 'Slow Death Process'. Limited to 300 copies. | |
