| Description : | Tabata and Guilty Connector aka Kohei the Fast mix guitar-noises with space-out electronic noise perusing a big range of instruments, effects, tape-loops, sequencers, some percussions and even a theremin. (the linernotes also remark an electric heater, glass and an acoustic guitar – have fun trying to find them.) There is a lot of different sounds and noises on this record, which will draw you into their realm and its wonders, if you are so inclined. From atmospheric drones to harsh noise, but mainly dwelling on weird and whirring sounds in-between, Guilty Connector and Tabata build a completely new and wonderful world from their minds only, some of which seems to be dangerous and evil, some of which seems to be plain beautiful and lush, but most is a mixture of many different things, styles, values and sounds. A great release, and if you feel that some things on this CD are a little weird, never mind or think to long about it, it is just the cultural differences between the complex and multifaceted Asian mind and the one-tracking, straight European mind. | |
