| Description : | After releasing his debut CD in 2002, Brett Sroka (trombone, computer) began exploring beyond his jazz background and became fascinated with electronic music, surrounding himself with computers and software. As he sought to reconcile the six hundred years of technology between trombone and computer he found the like-minded musicians Sam Harris (piano, Fender Rhodes) and Shawn Baltazor (drums). The music is jazz, certainly, but jazz that owes as much to Autechre and Sigur Ros as Ellington and Sun Ra. | |
