| DESCRIPTION |
| | GUAPO Obscure Knowledge Label : Cuneiform Records Year : 2015 Format : LP Style : Rock / Progressive Rock Availability : In stock
Price : 25.50 € - BUY
| | | | | Description : | Active for 20 years, GUAPO are a well-established UK band that plays 'muscular & modern' progressive rock. Their sound has evolved from its punk-rock origins to the band's current avant-rock stance, but the energy is always there.
This is Guapo's 3rd on Cuneiform. Their first for us, Five Suns, is considered a modern classic and has sold over 8,000.
In the band on this album are JAMES SEDWARDS (Thurston Moore Band), KAVUS TORABI (Gong, Cardiacs, Knifeworld), EMMETT ELVIN (Knifeworld, Chrome Hoof) and DAVID SMITH (Chrome Hoof).
The band has gathered acclaim from Pitchfork, The Wire, Mojo, Prog and elsewhere.
Recommended if you like: Magma, King Crimson, Present, Koenjihyakkei.
Vinyl release with gatefold cover and download code.
