Paracelze is a bonesetter which cooks an intimate mixture of three constituents in an oak barrel. The main ingredient is a mineral crushed rock. The second element is a noisy dislocated metal. The last additive is an organic acid. The mixture is then ground and blended for five or six months. Crystals are later evaporated, separated and recomposed dozens of times during one year. Finally, when Paracelze has succeeded to obtain two satisfactory samples, it adds an oxidizer in order to engrave the whole thing on a vinyl plate. Paracelze is an avant-rock band from Switzerland built on a particular line-up : violin, bass, drums. Therefore no guitarist, but a lot of distortion, electronic sounds, effects appearing out of nowhere. The combo play a direct but complex and versatile music, influenced by numerous bands from the rock and metal scenes as well as pop and experimental electro. | |
