after a year of work in their subterranean studio on Norrebro textil now steps out into the light with their debut album vol. I. more than 30 hours of spontaneously composed music have been boiled down to 45 minutes, now released on signals. textil, formed in Copenhagen in October 2005, are: Albert Raft (saxophones and clarinet), Anders Provis (drums and cymbals) and Kasper Lysemose (double bass and loops). The members of textil are known from several other bands such as ventilator, band of the universe, riis/lysemose/agha and mike h.
