| Description : | TRAFFICO is a rock band or a post-rock band, or post-hardcore or indie band, or whatever. With musical influences ranging from pop to hardcore, TRAFFICO uses layered melodies, interweaving guitarmonies (clever!), energetic hooks, turns and twists to cook up a brand of rock music that is frantic yet cheerful. The band has been compared with Minus the Bear, Fugazi and Pinback by critics and fans alike. Since its formation in 2006, TRAFFICO has gained itself a decent live reputation sharing the stage with Paramount Styles, Mintzkov, Herman Dune, The War On Drugs, Broken Glass Heroes in venues such as Muziekodroom, Botanique, Rock Herk main stage and Trix. In 2007 they finished third in the Limbomania rock contest and used the prize money to record nine songs with US producer John Morand (Sparklehorse, Avail, Lamb of God,...) in the Sounds Like Music Studios in Heusden-Zolder. The result is 'Finishing Other People's Unfinished Drinks', TRAFFICO's debut album, available now in a deluxe 180g lp/cd package. TRAFFICO is and will always be Joris Adriaens on guitars, Dave Haesevoets on bass, Wim Gijbels on drums and Serge Servadio on guitar and vocals. TRAFFICO is a part of the fabulous Honest House Collective/Recordlabel located in Liège. | |
