| Description : | '...thirteen days forth and thirteen back...' will give a pleasure only to openminded. This Cd is not of certain music style, but of certain music 'ambiance'. More like painting then the songs. Here you will not find strict song structure or songs at all, although it is devided in 6 parts... Somebody might find this as a compromise to the listener, since this cd IS one music, music in 6 part... but also as an oportunity for listener to change the stream of story, to make it more personal... After numerious improv sessions this is what came out as a final result. Recorded live in their rehersal space, with some additional overdubs, Uzrujan gives you music which can not be described with one or few band, music which can not be putted easy in any of music genres you know. Maybe it can be described as post something, but post what? 'Post jazz chember music', or 'ambient concretism', who ranges 'from melancholic sundscapes to free jazz bursts of noise & energy' as some journalists wrote. Or something complitely different. On the beautiful packaging of this cd you can find story written by ANDREJ MALESEVIC. Story he wrote after hearing Uzrujan`s music. It is certainly not the same story band had making this music (if the band had one not three), but one of possible ones... Or the one for those who are lazy to come up with their own… | |
