Description

Yowie is a big creature living alone in an haunting forest. Why alone ? Yowie plays a kind of busy No wave Math Rock impossible to recreate by mind, excect with the help of a supercomputer. The music is intense and expressive, nothing like Metal or Hardcore here but a new kind of powerful -core. Jeremiah Wontsewitz (also taking part in the Malade de Soucis project) plays a high tuned guitar with Jimbo while the Defenestrator hit his drumkit in a precise way they are the only ones to understand. No Wave strikes back and that's sooo good !

Un combat de catch entre musiciens. C'est ce à quoi fait penser cet album de Yowie (aucun rapport avec Bowie).

Deux guitares, une batterie et la machine est lancée. Ca pulse, ça crisse et c'est insupportable pour le commun des mortels.

Il faut avoir le manuel pour décrypter cette musique, l'album ne s'intitule par cryptooology pour rien. C'est confus, complexe et très technique.

Il s'inscrit donc parfaitement dans le catalogue du label Skin Graft, habitué aux musiques barrées. A conseiller à ceux qui veulent sortir des chemins rabattus.
