DESCRIPTION |
| | METABOLISME Tempus Fugit Label : Replica Year : 2017 Format : LP Style : Rock Availability : Out of stock
| | | | Description : | METABOLISME used to be a French band playing Progressive rock, and whose leader was the singer-guitarist Robert DURANTET.
First inspired by the sophisticated hard-rock as played by LED ZEPPELIN, DEEP PURPLE and BLACK SABBATH, the band then discovered the works of URIAH HEEP. With the help of keyboards player Thierry SCADUTO, a symphonic touch added a nice aspect to the music: certainly under the influence of GENESIS, YES or PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI, the quartet changed its musical style to play Progressive rock.
Released by the Musea label today, 'Tempus Fugit' (1977) was the only album by METABOLISME. Due to the French vocals, it has been compared with MONA LISA.
This little unknown gem reveals an underground French scene that played high quality music. This means that you absolutely need to discover such a band !
