| | | | | Description : | As head of the project, Matthieu Malon carries on giving a change of scenery in the French electro music with 'system:on'. Alternately cheerful and solemn, intimist and obtrusive, laudanum's music invites us to the unlikely meeting of DJ Shadow, Tarwater and My Bloody Valentine. This electro-pop music mingles well-chosen cinema samples and unexpected contributions - such as 'FBW' on which you can hear a famous Scotsman, known here as Saint-Aidan - which are both conniving (PE, a long-standing collaborator and Angèle who sometimes sings for Piano Magic) and disconcerting (but the list of 'virtual' guests would be too long ... ).
