| Description : | THE TALL SHIPS have a history of sound constructed from guitar, bass, and drums, augmented on occasion with trumpet, piano, baritone tuba and voice. Compositions tend toward linear movement, relating to the simplicity of Codeine, while the more complex moments articulate a breath comparable to Blonde Redhead or Rodan . The Tall Ships features Steve Kuhn whose previous endeavors include a short lived outfit Glendale (Art Monk Construction), with Darren Zentek (Kerosene 454, Channels) and Jay Demko (Lincoln) as well as Cole who received the grace of tours with the Archers of Loaf, June of 44, Don Caballero and Sweep the Leg Johnny. | |
